Laurence is my favorite, I recently started liking this name. I think the nn Laurie is cute for a boy, it is very unisex and it reminds me of Hugh Laurie and one of my favorite science teachers in high school.
Humphrey is an odd name but I kind of like it, reminds me of the actor Humphrey Bogart but on its own Humphrey sounds like the name you'd give an elephant.

Laurence, because at least then he could be Larry.
Humphrey? Jesus. I don't care how handsome and seriously-taken Bogart was, he was given a ridiculous, comical name.
