I was about to post a list of new names entering the Finnish name day calendar in 2020, but I noticed that I had done that when the new names were announced two years ago (see https://www.behindthename.com/bb/baby/4958215). However, I didn't mention the new names in the name day calendar of Swedish speaking Finns, so I post those now. There are 38 new names entering that calendar. The name had to be given to at least 50 Swedish speaking Finnish citizens so that it could be accepted to the calendar: also, an additional condition was that more than half of the name bearers had to be born after 1970.
