5 years have passed, making the year 1415.
Dice: http://www.brockjones.com/dieroller/dice.htm
First, roll d4 for any existing relationships - if you roll a 1, the couple is no longer together, due to death or divorce.
Roll d10 for everyone over the age of 60, or under the age of 10 - a roll of 8-10 means that that person has unfortunately passed away.
Now, roll d10 for everyone over the age of 14 who is single:
If they are aged 15 to 18, a roll from 7-10 is an engagement (but not one which can produce children.)
If they are aged 19 to 25, a roll from 5-6 is an engagement, and 7-10 is a marriage.
If they are aged 26+, a roll from 3-5 is an engagement, and 6-10 is a marriage.
Roll d20 for children:
For a potential mother aged 18-23: 1-10 is no children, 11-15 is 1 child, 16-20 is 2 children
For a potential mother aged 24-34: 1-5 is no children, 6-8 is 1 child, 9-14 is 2 children, 15-20 is 3 children
For a potential mother aged 35-45: 1-10 is no children, 11-15 is 1 child, 16-20 is 2 children
You can role for children only for your main couple, or for other family members as well.
Optionally, roll d10 for events:
1 - A plague hits the city, meaning no one can enter or leave until it is over.
2 - An alliance is made with another family
3 - Your rivals somehow sabotage your business
4 - A member of the family is given a title such as Duke
5 - Your bank secures a deal with someone influential, such as the pope or a king
6 - The harvests fail, meaning food is scarce and many people starve
7 - Your family gives their patronage to a talented young artist
8 - You receive a marriage offer from a royal or ducal family
9 - Your bank loses an important customer
10 - War breaks out between two city states
Namebanks:

Lucia has given birth to a son, Luciano Giovanni, named after both of his parents. With a capable son and a new grandson, Antonio I feels the Vercesi bank is now secure.
Unfortunately, however, a minor plague of cough has infected Venice - leading to all citizens staying in a period of forced seclusion. This deals a small blow to the Vercesi bank’s income, but the plague soon passes and all is back to normal.

Again, there was great joy in the Morra’s lives and great hardship too. Just after the last round five years ago all rejoiced with surprise when Piera announced that she was pregnant after so many years! Her mother, Margherita, declared, “Your womb has been freed from barrenness at the joy of your daughter’s coming matrimony. May you be blessed mothers together!” As usual, her mother’s dramatic proclamation was met by a smile and nod by Piera, who thinks that her womb was just ready again (the famine couldn’t have helped it any, could it?). Everyone was even more overjoyed and amazed when she gave birth to twins!! Two more girls the Morra clan, Ilaria and Chiara named for the happiness and brightness that they’ve brought back into the Morra family.
Sadly, the next year Piera’s mother Margherita passed away from a fever that struck their county and her father followed his wife several weeks later. Margherita would have said that he surely died from grief, and this time Piera would have unquestioningly believed it.

The Giardiola Family

S7 [3]: Giacomo Mattia Giardiola
War between Venice and Siena
Lorenzo and Maria's relationship was strained for two years, due to the latter's firmness that a union between their eldest son, Luca, and Salvaza Calzolai would bring Luca nothing but misery. Eventually, however - and to the shock of the bankers of Venice backing Signor Giardiola - Lorenzo agreed with his wife, and called off the betrothal, rationalizing that the last thing Venice as a city - as a republic - needed was more Calzolai influence. The Giardiola household was much more peaceful after this, and less than a year later Maria birthed a seventh son, Giacomo!
Things were not peaceful in Venice, though. Upon news of the broken betrothal, the powers of Siena declared war on Venice, and a bloody three years followed. Poor Nico Giardiola was a casualty of urban warfare. Peace was negotiated with various concessions that did not include a betrothal to Salvaza Calzolai. The Giardiolas would leave her to live whatever life she wished, as long as it was far, far away from Venice.
With their older children, except for Luca, Lorenzo and Maria decided to search for spouses outside Venice to expand its influence (but no Senese). For Damiano, they found a pleasant, if shy, daughter of Spanish merchants. Damiano and Clementina married a year ago, and recently welcomed identical twins Maria and Simona, after a difficult pregnancy that left "Tina" bedridden for most of it.

When Marsilia is 17, she marries Massimiliano, the son of the noble Landriani family. Recently, both Cristina and Marsilia were each blessed with a son, making their parents grandparents at last! Unfortunately, a plague has now entered Florence, forbidding anybody from entering or leaving.

Both Piero and Nico are now happily married - Nico has married Anna, a young Austrian woman, daughter of a rich sculptor, who was visiting the suitor, after falling madly in love with her. Pierino and Kora get along nicely, though they have produced no issue despite having now been married for some time. Lucrezia, however, has had another son, Bettino. The family have been keeping a low profile, as they have been accused of loaning to politicians in Florence, with whom war has broken out.

There are far, far too many children in the household. Tommaso has been devastated since Filippa died 3 years ago - he has stubbornly refused to remarry, and been rather cold with his children - the younger of whom have been largely cared for by their older siblings and cousins, as well as their aunt and uncle (who welcomed two more daughters just before Filippa's death). He gave Nico permission to mary Sophia Wassmeir-Thiessen, the daughter of a minor Austrian noble with whom Nico was (and is) madly in love, without a second thought, and did not attend their wedding himself - he showed only the faintest glimmer of interest in the birth of his first grandchild, Luisa. Alessandro got married at the same time as Nico, although not to the love of his life like his cousin - his wife, Aliodea Accolti, is the daughter of a family of bankers based in Sienna. The two get along well enough, although they aren't in love by any stretch of the imagination, and welcomed twins, Bianca and Costanzo, about two weeks after Luisa was born.
