I like the name Elisha on a boy. I knew a girl named this, and kept cringing, It's not girly to me at all. Anways WDYT of it, any MN suggestions? Or FN?"There is none Holy like The Lord, there is none besides Thee; there is no Rock like our God." (1 Samuel 2:2 RSV)

Definitely, Elisha = ee-LYE-shah. Nickname could be Eli. :) I hate when people spell the female name Alicia as Elisha, it annoys me too, lol.

Is it prn. ee-LIE-sha or ee-LISH-ah? The BtN pronunciation & the comment confused me. I think I prefer ee-LIE-sha.I think it's a nice name, definitely for a boy.Elisha Joseph
