It is a nice name, but there are other Spanish names I like better.

I think it is nice. Especially said Blon-Kuh, not said as Blanc-uh. I think it is nicer then Bianca, too, which sounds a bit snobby and nazal in my opinion.

It’s funny. I love Bianca and I like Blanche, but I’m not into Blanca at all.

Bianca brings to mind pure white doves. Blanche brings to mind a pale, refined lady. Blanca brings to mind staring at an empty canvas waiting for inspiration.

The sound is too close to 'blank' as in, a blank slate. Apart from that, it's better than Blanche but I'd prefer Bianca, though never enough to even think about using.

As for the meaning, once you give a child a name, that name acquires the meaning of 'my child'. All others are secondary.

Blanca instead is ruined by the 'bla' part that is strange to see as reminds me 'blablabla' that is said when a person talk too much (like saying etc...) or when you want to stress that some info are silly or can be omitted.

The sound of Blanca reminds me of 'blank', and the meaning reinforces that. Also, Blanca seems like a word name to me, so the meaning of 'white' is an immediate/obvious association, and that alone would make me feel awkward using it. A meaning of white or blank could be conceptualized positively, but that's not my immediate reaction.

The meaning of 'white' for Bianca comes across as more abstract to me and doesn't bother me in the same way.

50/50 I like it because it has a nice ring to it but the "L" throws me off a bit
