Lily is one year old now and she is doing well. Kyle and I have already taught her to walk and she is starting to talk a lot. Kyle and I bought Lily a puppy for her birthday which we have named Padfoot. Lily likes him a lot and we are happy with him too.

Katrin is doing well, and has the dimpled smile and bright blue eyes to show for it! She loves to sing, or attempt to sing, along with mum and da, and already has the grace of a dancer-to-be. She loves the new family member, black-and-white dwarf rabbit M'sieur D'Arque, and D'Arque is bahaving himself with the little one.

Paddy is doing extremely well on Broadway. He's currently playing Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and having a great time. Anna's novels are gaining popularity in some of the more important writing and publishing circles, and she's excited to see where that is going to lead.

Ella is doing great! She is very energetic and has the cutest rosy cheeks! She has freckles and her light brown hair has gone wavy. Her green eyes are the envy of the nieghborhood! She loves to be read to and cuddles too. As soon as she's old enough to understand it, we can't wait to read her Cinderella!
Ron adores his job and is one of the favorite teachers in the school. He gets along great with his students.
As for me, I travel around the world with the orchestra but still have time enough in between trips to spend time with Ron and Ella.
We recently adopted a rabbit. Ella named it "Pepper" with Ron's and my help. She is white with black spots and very mellow. Ella loves her to bits!

It's been a great year. My (and Andrew's!) daughter is now a whole year old! She is such a wonderful child, we love her so much. Juliet loves to play around outside, and if she can't be outside, her next choice would be to run around causing mayhem indoors. She is very active and curious about the world, always jabbering on to me or Andrew about her day, or asking questions in her little year-old sentances, usually just the two or three main words nessecary, like "Dolly Night-Night?" When we put her to bed, wanting us to tuck in 'Dolly' as well, or she'll point at the sky, asking curiously why it is blue. We can't get her to stand still, but that's fine with us, she's developing wonderfully, and is healthy as can be, despite some bumps and bruises from too many trips and running around the park.

Andrew's job is going well, he still loves his medical teaching career, but says he would like to go into a new adventure, like becoming a pediatrician. That's fine with me, if it'll make him happy. It's also very nice to have someone with all the medical knowledge in the house, I appreciate Andrew in a whole new way now that we have a daughter- If Juliet gets sick, I just ask daddy what's wrong, and he usually knows.

Louisa Maeve is doing really well. Besides a case of colic (which was easily cured), she is such a healthy vibrant toddler. She's really intelligent and is really taking a liking to her new pet rabbit, Tumeric, which she affectionately calls "Tumi".

Louie is doing wonderful and can now speak and run and do all these marvulous things! She doesn't have any issues what-so-ever and Chris and I are so happy about it! She is the perfect little girl and she absolutely adores our new cat Simba who we found staying in our garage for several days and no one has claimed him. My job is great and my kids (students) are wonderful and although the papers take awhile grading, I love the job, I am also directing the school plays and musicals! Chris is just starting a new series and so far it has had great polls and hopefully, he believes, he will be getting a better salary.

Madeline is doing excelent!! she has alot of energy and loves playing around in the backyard and at the park. she is very healthy. my job is doing very well! she just learned to walk and is getting better at it eachday. i am designing a house for a very wealthy family right now so im bringing in alot of money. Kevins job is also doing very well. to match Maddie's personality, we decided to get a puppy for her to play with. Kevin and i both grew up with dogs so we thought it would be a great idea. we went to the shelter and there was an 8 week old puppy. Maddie was immediatly drawn to him so we bought him and named him Luka. Luka is a mixed breed between a huskey and a yellow lab and he is gorgeous!! he is such a sweetheart and loves playing with Maddie and the neighborhood kids and gives them tons of kisses! :)

We just celebrated Emma's first birthday with a Dora the Explorer-themed party. All of her little friends from day care were there, and she received so many wonderful gifts (though she seemed more interested in the boxes they came in than in the presents themselves). Emma is such an adorable baby. She said her first word at eight months and could stand up by herself at eleven. She is not at all shy around strangers; she'll keep talking to someone she just met for ten minutes straight, even though most of the time you can't really understand what she's saying.

Emma has also taken quite a liking to the newest addition to the family. We adopted a kitten from the shelter and originally named him Thaddeus, but since Emma can't quite say his name and has been calling him Tad, we thought the nickname suited him better and change it.

Our jobs are going quite well. Jack has just landed a huge client for his architectural firm; he's been put in charge of designing a new home for an actor who, coincidentally, is the star of the new movie I'm writing for!

Wow...how time does fly! :) We just celebrated Ellie Grace's first birthday on September 21st with a Care Bear themed party. We invited our family and friends to celebrate with our little girl, and she received every gift imaginable. Her favorite, though, was given to her by her Aunt Rachel and Uncle Nick, and is a Care Bear that sings when you hold its hands. It is so hard to believe that an entire year has passed since our baby girl was born. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.

Ellie is a wonderful little girl who is growing so quickly. She tends to be shy around people she doesn't know very well, but around Luke and me, she is a little chatter box. She loves to talk, and her vocabulary is growing very quickly. I love it when she tells Luke or me that she loves us. She is such a caring one-year-old, and she loves to play with her dolls and her Care Bears, as I'm sure you can tell :) Right now, she is so in love with her entire collection; it seems she has every bear on the planet :D

Aside from talking, Ellie is also walking. She still loves to be held and carried, but there are times where she becomes quite independent and wants to walk around on her own. She loves to run around in the backyard, and one of her favorite things to do is to sneak up on and watch our newest addition...no, not a baby brother or sister...at least not yet. It's a bird named Blaze that Luke brought home. He wanted to get a pet, but nothing that would require too much care since we have our hands full with little Ellie.

Work is going well for the both of us. Leaving Ellie for the first time when I had to go back to work was hard, but we've worked our way through it. We still have a few days here and there when she cries and doesn't want me to leave, but she enjoys playing with her friends at daycare, and believe me, when I say that I rush home as soon as possible to be with her. There's no doubt that Ellie Grace has changed our lives forever. She's the perfect daughter in my eyes, and I cannot imagine life without our little angel.

Genevieve is getting so big! She started walking 2 weeks ago, and seems to have nearly mastered it. She's very calm and quiet, but she's starting to be more vocal now that she's in daycare. Augustus was adopted from the shelter on Sunday, and he's a brown and black tabby with a fairly neutral temperment. Genevieve hasn't quite gotten used to him, but she loves pulling at him and scaring him.

It's a year since Violet was born, and the family are doing well. Daisy is preparing for the forthcoming release of The Getaway III (which has finally been given a proper title: The Getaway: Return Of "The Brow") at work, while Ray is staying at home and looking after their daughter.

Violet is doing well - her hair has darkened a little, but she's still lighter than her father. Her eyes have, unusually, stayed the same colour since birth. She can burble a few words, but has shown no interest in standing up - Violet is perfectably content with the floor for now.

The latest addition to the family is Banana Skin, a small black and rabbit that Ray found abandoned in a dustbin. Because they have no garden, Banana Skin currently lives in a small hutch in the guest bedroom.

Houdini is a adorable mongrel we rescued. He is medium sized and mostly brown with white patches. He is settling in nicely and Nan loves him! Meanwhile Elisabeth has moved schools and is now working with children aged 7-11. She is also now head of the literacy department. Alex is throughly enjoying his job but is working less hours to spend more time with Nan.

Rosie is living up to her nn in more then one way, not only does still look like a tiny me as soon as she started walking-which she did earlier then normal-she was off and running. Now her cheeks are always rosy as she runs around doing all sorts of things. She doesn't chatter all the time but she asks millions of questions about everything. Christopher loves her curiousity and always has the time to sit down and explain things to her. I love to stand in the doorway to the study and find Christopher holding Rosie and explaining why the flowers grow and how the seeds get there and why the sun is so bright.
Rosie is the reason we have a bird right now. I was working in the garden when Rosie came running up to me with a bird in her hand. It was a tiny sparrow with a broken leg. The sparrow mustn't have been very old, barely out of the nest I'd say. Rosie wanted to keep it, I wasn't too sure about that but I said we'd wait until CHristopher got home. A few hours later when he got home he and Rosie used two metal headless nails and scotch tape to set the tiny bony then they wrapped small strips of duct tape around that. Rosie proclaimed she wanted to keep Snowy which was what she'd dubbed him and Christopher looked rather helplessly at me before telling her she could. It is obviously a good thing Rosie doesn't ask for much otherwise she would be spoiled rotten.
