Olga is one of those names that is beautiful when said by a person of the names origin (pretty much anything but English in this case) but awful in English. I've only ever heard ol-GUH in English and that just isn't correct.

OL-guh is the only way I've heard English-speakers (specifically, people in the U.S. or Canada) pronounce it. Otherwise, I agree with you, Angrboða. It's lovely when someone says it in Russian but it sounds really bad in English.
