We actually love the name, so there's no swaying us :-) There's a lot of meaning behind it, as it's actually a very loose pronunciation of his Chinese name- Rui-Xiang (englishfied, it sounds a lot like ree-shen, hence Reeshen). I've also heard it before..an aquaitence I knew was called Reeshen, although I don't know how he spelled it. And when doing a google search, it came up a few times as names for others... a first name in South
Africa and as a last name in the United States. So even though it's very rare, it really is a name :-) And I love the sound of it, even if it weren't!
