Does Rhys sound like a plausible nickname for Demetrius? Audibly it makes sense to me but I realize the spellings are totally different and may throw people off. I don’t like the spelling Reece (and honestly don’t feel it’s any closer spelling wise) and I can’t figure another way to spell it using the letters in the original name...
