[Facts] Putting a name into your system.
I am naming my daughter Rayyne, and I would like for her to have a meaning to her name. In school our teachers always did a search on our names and handed them out for projects. And I hope my daughter won't have time feel left out because her name has no meaning.

We can't assign meanings to names, that's not how etymology works. We don't dictate names, we study them.As pointed out previously as a variant of Rayne or possibly Reine or Rain, the name already has a meaning. But this because of its actual etymological roots, not because we decided it was so.

Rayyne is a variant of Raynehttps://www.behindthename.com/name/rayne/submitted
Why is it easier for your to give your daughter a name with 'no meaning' and then tell this site to come up with one than give her a name with a meaning?

People these days want the entire world to adapt to them instead of vice versa... to bend it to their wishes. She could avoid having her daughter feel left out by picking a more "established" name... but no, instead somehow the responsibility is on the outside world for preventing her daughter from feeling left out.

That's a bit harsh.
