so when i came across this name in a book a while ago, it was really funny to me, i think because it so perfectly fit the story (which is the members of a fictional fundamentalist group). so it wasn't so appealing to me.
lately though, i've liked lesser used Biblical names like
Hiram. first i only liked it said HEER-am, and was disappointed when a poll showed that apparently most everyone says it HIE-ram. but now i kind of like that pronunciation too. it feels less grumpy to me and more warm. and i like H- and -m names a lot when i come across them, but there's not so much of either out there that i'd use (at least ones used in English).
wdyt? is it usable on a kid nowadays?
