I like
Eliana very much. Then again, I adore flowing, open-voweled names. I like the way
Eliana looks, sounds, and its meaning. Having said that ... because of its length, it would likely get shortened. And while I like
Ellie,
Liana, etc., I don't see the point of using
Eliana just to have it shortened. (It reminds me of
Anastasia in that regard.) In addition, the entire name seems too long for everyday use (again, like
Anastasia) so it's not something I'd likely use. I'd love to see it on someone else, however.
