I'm not really into alliterative twin names, however, I especially dislike these spellings. Miles and Michaela would have been much better in my view.

Myles is somewhat OK, though the y makes it less good than Miles. I'd be happy to see a young Miles, actually.

Mikaela is just plain awful. Michaela at least looks authentic! But in those parents' case, I'd have gone for Michele (or Michelle, but I've got two excellent Michele friends, so ...).

As for the matching initials, I find them miserably silly. Unless for some reason everyone in the family has to have an M name, and even then it just spreads the silliness more thinly.

Miles is a nice name. Don't care for the Myles spelling. Mikaela got so trendy about 10-15 years ago that it made me want to pull my hair out when I heard it. It flew under the radar on the charts because people spelled it about a million different ways.

To me they seem like totally different name styles and they don't fit well together.

Boring... I do like Miles but it's gotten too popular and I was sick of Michaela etc 10 years ago haha
