[Opinions] Another family BA (with er, an interesting second middle name!)
My cousin had her first child yesterday, a daughter named Tabitha Grace Daffodil. She's a half-sister for Joshua George Peter, and Elijah James Richard. The middle name is due to the daffodil being a symbol for March. They had originally planned Amethyst (birthstone for February) as a second middle, but Tabitha arrived late. At least it's only a middle name!~Charley~

I think it's cute! I like the birth month flower connection and find the whole combo very sweet.

Daffodils are my favorite flower...or tied with irises. This afternoon after an awful awful day and week, I drove a different way home due to traffic and passed this huge garden bed on campus (probably an acre all up) FULL of blooming daffodils and it was the most beautiful and perfect thing after everything that's been going on this week. I just adore them and they make me smile every single time I see one.So while I think Daffodil would be an unfortunate first name, I'm all for it as a middle name. Just the sound of the name makes me smile because I think of the flower. Tabitha is nice too. The whole combo is good :)

I think it's cute! Tabitha is underused (imo) and I'm all for odd middle names.

I think it's sweet. Tabitha Grace Daffodil is an adorable name. Yeah, it's a little bit on the cutesy side, but that just adds to its charm. :)What a darling sibset honestly.

Tabitha is very refreshing actually, especially with Joshua and Elias. I think Daffodil works here, especially because it's a second mn :)

I really like Tabitha.Daffodil is interesting but I can see the connection. I saw quite a few daffodil pictures on Facebook yesterday from Welsh friends for St David's Day. And it's only a second middle name so she can always drop it if she wants when she's older.

Hi Charley !!!Congratulation to your family and her new cousin !!I'm not a fan of Tabitha...
It is better than others but I find it heavy and dated.Grace Daffodil would be lovely though.Daffodil is clear but refined.I love names that help you to know something about the birthdate! I think it is a great tradition!

i would've used Jonquil (actually i would really like to see that used more), which i believe is the same as a daffodil, but Daffodil as a middle name is cute. i like the idea of using symbols for the birth month, and sticking with that even when the name isn't as planned.

I love Tabitha and I think Daffodil is great as a middle name (only), for a baby born in March. I would have left out Grace.

Congrats on your new cousin. I like Tabitha. Not really Daffodil. I think it's kind of silly that they changed it from what they wanted just because she was born in March.

I absolutely love it! Daffodil as a middle will always get a thumbs up from me. Of course, I'm also glad they went with that as opposed to Tabitha Grace Aquamarine or Tabitha Grace Bloodstone. They've not got quite the same ring. :)

Tabitha Grace Bloodstone. Now that has quite a ring to it - I can almost see it. I don't know why but it almost appeals to me.

Its pretty to me. And at least it is a middle name. Tabitha Grace Amethyst would have been pretty as well. Congralations on the new baby in your family as well.

I’m not the biggest fan of Daffodil, but I do think it’s fine as a middle, particularly alongside Grace. I think one can afford to be a little adventurous in the middle, especially with two. I absolutely love Tabitha!

Interesting family!I like Tabitha but prefer the less feline Talitha. Grace is soporific, but Daffodil is certainly a wake-up call. And the brothers. I like Peter (my son's fn), James and Richard. Joshua is so popular now that it lacks any distinct personality it might once have had. I find Elijah really unpleasantly off-putting, and George is pretty average.

I agree about Tabitha being more of a cat name. It's a GP of mine, though.

I love it, start to finish. I’d never use Daffodil as a first name, but with two more practical names in front of it, it’s cute and really wakes the name up. It’ll probably never come up IRLEta meant to post on the main part of the thread. Oops.
