[Opinions] Mae
WDYT of Mae as a first name? It's a family name and I tend to put it in the middle name spot, but lately, I'm liking it as a first name. Thoughts? Middle name suggestions?Check out my ever changing name list! http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/137889Mom to Amalia and Jon

Oh I adore Mae Louisa! That would use two family names, which is definitely a bonus for me.

My middle name is May. I don't really like Mae. Both are fillery in the mn slow but idk if I'd use either of them for s first name either. I'd probably go for some kind of variant, either May or Maea, Maya, Maia, Mariel (which is apparently a variant) or some name related to Mary or Margaret since apparently those are also related via nicknames

Oh I like quite a few of these suggestions! Thanks!

It's okay, but only okay. It kind of just sits there waiting for something to happen. As a middle name it's better but still feels like it just fills a seat.

It’s fine. Two of my best friends chose this for their adorable daughter. It’s not one I would choose, but it’s elevated by association.

It is my middle name, and I do tend to use for video games, it is okay! I like the Chinese-Japanese Mei as well!

I far prefer May, which is fine as a fn. Changing the spelling does nothing to improve it or make it less everydae.

I'd definitely use the Mae spelling since it's a family name and that's how my grandmother spelled it.
