Miles and
Alethea are getting on in years, but are still active (80 is the new 60, right?) and enjoying their close-knit family of children, grandchildren, and now…great grandchildren!
That’s right!
Ivy, who just began university, has met someone. Her parents were a bit reserved about this new relationship, as her boyfriend
Niko is quite a bit older than her and already has a young son,
Noah (with his ex-wife,
Vivian). However, they’re trusting Ivy’s typically good judgment and that
Niko is as stable and kind as he seems to be (also understands the hazards of marrying young). They’ve met his parents,
Caleb and
Hadassah, who are lovely and like
Ivy as well. It’s a good thing they all get along because
Ivy and
Niko have just unexpectedly become parents (well, unexpected until about 7 months ago)! And, in typical Norwood-family form, the newborns are twins! The couple welcomed daughters,
Tirzah Vanessa and Nava Eliza. Their first names honor Nikodem’s Jewish heritage and their middle names were chosen because Ivy takes after her parents in loving classic literature. All of the other children are still too young for children of their own (thank goodness).
Sterling and
Carys are hoping that 17-year-old
Henry is going to hold off longer than
Ivy did, despite their delight with the babies.
Clare and
Sebastian are enjoying their blended family, but aren’t looking to add to it with any more children.
