[Opinions] Twins BA

Yes, that's correct.
It is?
They pronounce Yael like Yale University? I've been saying yah-EL this whole time.

They say it like Yale, almost like yeel, but I believe the traditional pronunciation is ya-EL.
I like the names themselves (and prefer Yael to Jael), but am marveling at how different they are, culturally. Is the family both Irish and Jewish?
Yes, both have Jewish heritage. Mom has some Irish on one side though.
I'm probably a horrible person for thinking this, but I must not be the only person who thinks of queef when I see Aoife, right? Bueller?
Interesting combination of names, an extremely Irish name and an extremely Jewish / Israeli name. They kind of work together though, and I always appreciate when twins aren't given matchy names.
I hope Yael continues to thrive.

I don't think I'd use these names myself, but I love Aoife.
I don't know if it was intentional, but both names seems to come from women of great bravery in different forms. Aoife being a Warrior Princess and Jael killing a captain with a tent peg makes them different from the cliché of fair Maidens dying of heartache after the loss of their lover. I know this might seem a bit too dissecting, but though the connection isn't obvious, it's still there. I was originally going to mention how I prefer twin names with a connection, but this one actually had a good one without me realizing it right away.
Alltogether, I like the twins' names very much.

Can't say I'm a fan, too. If so, I would prefer Eve & Jaelle spelling.
(Ah-Oh-EE-feh - quite strange spelling)

I like both of them a lot. I think they’re pretty and sound nice together. (-:
I kind of like the names, but together they don't fit so much. Yaels always had more of a religious feel and classic, while Aoife sounds like a Irish model name to me.
