I kind of like Marietta. It's a nice and fresh alternative for Maria/Mary. It's full of energy and very dynamic. And my favourite combo of these you created is Marietta Penelope I guess.

I can’t separate it from the small town in Georgia (but I used to live near there). It gives me a country, Deep South vibe because of that.

I like Marietta. I am sure I would be delighted to meet one in real life. My favorite 'everyday' wine was called Marietta and I used to drink it often, though I never buy wine anymore. That association is positive. I also like Mariette and Etta Mary. Lately I have been most allured by Marianne.Marietta Beatrice
Marietta Constance*
Marietta Eugenie
Marietta Frances*
Marietta Lenore*
Marietta Lucy
Marietta Margaret
Marietta Mathilde
Marietta Ruth

I like Marietta, but I'm not completely in love with it either. I really like the sound of Marietta Lucile and Marietta Violet.
