I prefer Ross, I really don't like Royce much. I also dislike Rose, I prefer Rosemarie, Rosaleen, or Rosalie.

Honestly, I can only picture it on a boy. I've only ever seen it on boys. (Of course, I don't know any personally, but I've seen it online.)

It's interesting. It keeps coming and going from my (long) list, has never been in my Top 10.

I don't associate it with "rose" or "red" at all. I associate it with "king". It has a royal vibe to me. Royce would make a great middle name!

I like Royce. Not do my child but I'd be pleased to meet someone else's kid with the name. I think it's rugged but still soft, which is a hard combo to find.

I went to high school with a guy with this name. While he was very nice, his name always seemed pretentious to me. It's like a slightly classier version of naming a kid Lexus or Mercedes.

I want to like it, and I suppose sort of do. It has a masculine, cowboyish feel to it, which can be nice. It's also a trendy kind of name, which I'm sure is why it's gaining in popularity.

I know its origin, but there isn't anything floral in feel or image that it evokes.

It's my least favorite male name. It sounds so sleazy to me. It would be a great name for a criminal in a story, though.

Royce is a name of one of the houses Game of Thrones, so I could see how that could lead to an increase in popularity.
