Hate it. Makes me think of the drink.
Not as horrible for a boy as it is for a girl, but still not good. I don't think it has an attractive sound.
It's not the worst, but I think a person can do way better than Bailey, for either sex. I've known of one male Bailey, I think, and a few female ones, but I can't even count how many dogs I've heard of named this, male and female. It's almost a cliche, like if somebody says they have a dog, I'm surprised if it isn't named Bailey.
Here in Australia, it's only used on boys. I like it as it fits with my style, but it's far too common to use. I would actually like to meet a female Bailey as I know 6 or 7 boys with this name and zero girls.
I associate it with Baileys Irish Cream, and also with Grey's Anatomy. I like the name though, and only for a boy. My only concern is that people would think it's a girl these days.
It sounds like a dogs name or reminds me of Bailey's. I don't like it sorry. Not a fan of surnames for first names really though so it's really not my style
Better on a boy than on a girl
Better on a boy than on a girl
I think it sounds like a name for a male dog and it's just blah on a human girl. I'd prefer it on a male child if it's going on a human though.
I love it for a boy. It's okay on a girl, but it seems fresher on a boy. It's one of those names that I sort of forgot about for awhile, but I was reminded of it when I watched Grey's Anatomy and now I really like it.
Awful.
Years of teasing.
Adult PTSD.

I actually have a close friend who is a boy named Bailey. Knew him since elementary school, and I can positively say that he's never been teased for his name. (-:
That's good!
I prefer it for a boy and I actually like it a lot as a masculine name, but I think it's better suited for a pet.
I prefer it for a girl (It's what I'm used to and I wasn't even aware that it started out as a masculine name until after hearing\seeing it as a girls name for years and years).
Though honestly, I don't care for the name at all. To me, it's better left used as a dog's name. Maybe a cat?
The name just never appealed to me
