Luisa, I like Louisa best, but it would be more likely to be mispelled in Italy.

Luisa, hands down. They are both very old, but Luisa feels noble, Luigia... just no, it is just clunky and old.

Luisa hands down. Luigia sounds like a really old woman.

I much prefer Luisa. It's got such a pretty and spunky sound. Luigia is okay. Luisa isn't that popular in Italy.

Hello :)I think I prefer Luigia. I'm not sure how well it would work outside of Italy, but I like it. It has a lot of energy and it's strong. I love Luigina, it's so cute.Luisa is fine, it's more international. What I don't like about it is that it seems like a compromise name. Kind of like Helena. I have the feeling that everyone kind of likes these two and that they are often used when the parents can't agree on anything else. Luisa is super commom here in Austria, in France it's Louise. For some reason Louise has more character to me.

Luisa is much more elegant. There's something clunky about the 'j' sound in Luigia. Is it a bit of an old lady name?I much prefer Louise and Louisa to either

Luisa is definitely more memorable and familiar for me, and I feel like I would have a hard time remembering how to correctly pronounce Luigia (as I don't speak Italian). I prefer Luisa.
