I saw that Minerva was supposed to be Minnie Mouse's actual first name. Do you think Minerva is too much of an old lady name?

No, I don't. Although it was most popular 1880 - 1900, it was never extemely popular even then, so it's not as tied to one or two generations as a name that was really popular would be. And some names that were popular then are coming back, anyway.

Plus, the Harry Potter reference makes it somewhat chic.
