Help[Facts] Latin Names
I've been trying to find a way to access all the LATIN names listed on the site. The closest I can get is MEDIEVAL LATIN, which is not precisely what I want (and whose usage tends to include LATE ROMAN). While I've noticed on individual searches that some names are listed as LATIN, I cannot find a way to access all of those so designated.
If the LATIN and LATE ROMAN designations are being used interchangeably, why is this not indicated somehow? FWIW, I've not seen the LATIN usage listed with any of the LATE ROMAN names I've found via clicking on the MEDIEVAL LATIN list link in the usage menu.

There is a notable paucity of Ancient Roman names, because the Romans went with a set of 18 common given names. Also, the cognomina were rather restricted. Many names we recognise as Latin are in fact derived from the Roman family names (nomen gentile).

"Late Roman" names are called that because the Roman Republic made Latin the dominant language (as opposed to 'Ancient Roman' names which have more Greek influence). I don't think there is a category for just "Latin".
