Stephen and Martin are both very common names and I don't think the association is too overwhelming. In fact, I don't see why anyone would associate Stephen Martin ______ with Steve Martin (unless perhaps you actually call him Steve, but even then people usually don't say the nickname with the middle name, so honestly I think it's fine).
