There's an English singer, who used to be in a pop group, but is now a solo artist, named Myleene.
I don't know if it's related, but I always think that the name sounds like Marlene (English pronounciation= mar-LEEN), which is a contraction of Mary Magdalene.

Yah, somebody on the Opinions board mentioned the singer Mylene... Britpop or something. Unfortunately it doesn't explain the name meaning/origin... but it does prove it's use! Which will come in handy when I submit it as a name :)
