Actually, yes, I say you're not allowed to like an African-American name, either. You aren't allowed, and I'm not allowed, because​ we can't and we don't relate to them.

I've said here, more than once, when an African-American name has been included on a list, "I don't attempt to judge this because I'm not of this culture."

Saying you like the name sounds a lot nicer so it's more likely to get a pass, but the principle is the same.
