Tuuli
- Many nature related names are common in Finland and Tuuli is a good example of those. Tuuli is quite a modern name, probably the most common among girls/women born in the 1980's to 2000's. Tuulikki (a variant of Tuuli), on the other hand, was a fairly popular baby boomers' (1940's/1950's) name and more often used as a MN.
Vanamo
- Vanamo is one of my favorite Finnish names, I much prefer it to Swedish Linnea! Vanamo is a bit rarer nature name, but apparently it has gained popularity as a MN in recent years.
Timo
- Timo is a very, very common Finnish male name. It was most popular from 1940's to 1970's: I think I've never met/heard of a baby/kid Timo (born in 2000's or 2010's).
Heikki
- Very similar to Timo, though Heikki has probably been used since medieval or early modern times! Heikki is also more common among younger generations (born in 1970's/1980's).
Sanna
- A name used more often from the 1960's to 1990's. I've met many Sannas, so it's not a rarity.
Kalevi
- A very popular baby boomers' name and more often used as a MN. Nowadays many parents seem to use it as an honoring name for their baby boys, since it's many Finnish grandfather's or great-grandfather's name.
Einar
- More a vintage name: Einar was popular at the turn of the 20th century and is now living its revival. Still, Einar's Finnish variant Eino is (and was back then) more popular, being the seventh most popular name for newborns in 2016.
Ilmari
- Similar to Kalevi: they are both derived from Kalevala, Finland's national epic (there are the land of Kaleva and the character Ilmarinen). They're both been popular about the same time (though I've met some younger Ilmaris) and more common as MNs.
Sirkka
- A very grandma name to me: the combo Sirkka-Liisa is also very common among the baby boomers, so I was surprised to see it as a mother's name in the BAs!
Mikko
- Similar to Timo and Heikki, especially to the latter one. Mikko is also my cousin's name and it's pretty common in his age group (he was born in 1993).
