Sofia. I used to dislike all Sophie variants but they're growing on me, though it's true it's very popular. I don't get the love for Anastasia and Lily. Anastasia has a slightly silly vibe if you're not Russian and Lily is childish and prissy, the kind of name I can't imagine on anyone over 5.
As for the spelling of Sofia, it would depend where she was, it's the standard Italian spelling.
