[Opinions] Sofia, Anastasia or Lily? (more)
Can you rank them? You can also comment on them if you haven't before, I would love to read your comments :)
Do you think Sofia is a spelling that would always have to be corrected? Do you like it?
Is Sofia too common? I know it is very popular but it is starting to really grow on me. But it will pretty much be the next Jessica right?
Lily Sofia or Lily Anastasia?

Lily Sofia or Lily Anastasia?

I find Anastasia inconveniently long and complicated, so a lot would depend on what nn you thought you could persuade people to use. Ana? Stacy? Not great, IMO.
I don't like Lily one bit. It's better as a nn for Elizabeth, but it's still not good.
Sofia, to me, sounds like soFEEa; I'm very fond of Sophia but only when it sounds like soFIEa.

1. Lily
2. Sofia
3. Anastasia
Lily is one of my favourite names. It reminds me of a brave child who has to fight for her own life. I can also easily imagine an adult Lily who works to help people like a doctor or a teacher. Lily is a very cute nickname too.
I'm not a massive fan of the spelling Sofia, but I still quite like it. I would correct it to the spelling Sophia because it reminds me of a pretty girl or woman but Sofia reminds me of a road name (no idea why) "Sofia End" or "Sofia Lane". You know what I mean? And yes Sofia is getting very popular and that is a bad thing in my opinion as I would much much rather have Sophia stay up there. However, it will most certainly be the next Jessica.
Anastasia, well, I really really hate Anastasia. A horrible name. Too many vowels. Too many nicknames. Reminds me of a bossy princess who is incredibly annoying. I would never ever name my daughter this.
After looking at my comments, it is a little bit obvious which one I'd pick.
Lily Sofia, but I would prefer Lily Sophia or Sophia Lily. Not Sofia Lily though.
By the way, just wondering, why did you choose Lily as first name?

Thanks for your answer :) Lily has just been my favorite name ever since I can remember. I think I was 9 or 10 when I first starting liking it. I still remember sitting in my room a few years later, when I was 12 or 13, and deciding on the spelling I liked best :P I wrote all of them down and decided Lily is the nicest one. I also love lilies, my favorite flowers are peruvian lilies, they are gorgeous :) I have always constantly loved this name whereas other favorites have come and gone so I know it's the right one :) Oh and I think it is strong and feminine but also sweet sounding. I also always imagine a Lily to be a great person, maybe because I grew up with Harry Potter and Harry's mom Lily saved his life. But I liked it even before I read the books :)
Ohh and I could imagine using Anastasia and Sofia as first names too I am just leaning more towards Lily.

Sofia. I used to dislike all Sophie variants but they're growing on me, though it's true it's very popular. I don't get the love for Anastasia and Lily. Anastasia has a slightly silly vibe if you're not Russian and Lily is childish and prissy, the kind of name I can't imagine on anyone over 5.
As for the spelling of Sofia, it would depend where she was, it's the standard Italian spelling.

1. Sofia - best meaning, nice length, too popular
2. Anastasia - ok meaning, quite long, not as popular
3. Lily - good meaning, quite short/nicknameish, too common
I go back and forth on which spelling I prefer. There are worse problems in life than having to spell out your name.
I think Sofia/Sophia is already the next Jessica. There are Sophies everywhere! (at least in Australia)
Lily Anastasia. I like Anastasia Lily more though.
