I like Eloise very much; certainly enough to use.
Like Louisa, Eloisa doesn't seem to need the extra syllable. It adds nothing, and makes the names long and clumsy.

I agree, regarding Eloise and Eloisa. I prefer Eloise, and think it is highly usable. I used to prefer Louisa to Louise, but that was when it was more unusual, and a name that I only occasionally came across, outside the page of Jane Austen's novels. Nowadays, it seems at least as popular as Louise, and I currently adore Louise. It was overused as a middle name, and I'm glad that it is being revived as a first name. It's classic and beautiful.
