It's ok. It's too common to appeal to me though. Zoe is the first alternative that comes to mind but it's still in the Top 10 for Australia. Other 2 syllable names ending in the "ee" sound that aren't in the Top 50 - Molly, Holly and Chelsea.

It has a nice meaning and sounds cute but it is boring and starting to sound tired. It will be dated very soon. I would prefer Cleo. Other less common alternatives: Ione, Phoebe, Calista.

I knew a lecturer at uni whose name was Clodagh. Pronounced KLOHda, it's a river in Ireland, and her parents were planning a holiday there when she was born. They took a random pieceof paper, wrote on it the names they'd chosen for their daughter, and gave it to the priest, who read the back of the paper instead of the front and named her after the holiday destination! I love the story - can you imagine the parents' faces? - and the name is close to Chloe in feel and sound, with a pleasant association. Irish rivers are good!

I always hated this name. I'm not sure why. It just sounds like the name of a spoiled brat.

I like it! I feel like I should be hearing it often, but I don't. I just heae Sophia all the time. Others names maybe could be Cora, Cleo, Ivy, Lydi (Lydia), Lyda & Chloe always made me think of Phoebe.

It's ok. Not my favorite and I feel like I hear it a lot. Chloe makes me think of Phoebe for some reason. Maybe; Sophie, Zoey, Penelope, Calliope?

No, never liked it. It sounds like a gross, very wet nose-blowing for some reason.
