This name has been popping up in my life recently. I've been reading Miriam a lot of books by Mordecai Gerstein, a really cool children's author. I also picked up a book with Mordecai in the title. I'm starting to like it, although I wouldn't use it. What do you guys think of it? Does the "mor" part put you off? Do you think it will become popular / trendy? I've got trendy taste and when I start liking a name it tends to mean it's on the rise. Mordecai seems to check all the boxes - biblical, off-beat, old-fashioned, trendy sound. It screams hipster but I've never really heard it.
