I love Winston! I actually don't mind some pretention or upper class feeling to a name as long as it isn't too stuffy. I like Winston because I associate it with Winston Churchill. The nn's Win and Winnie are cute.
Winston isn't quite a top favorite but I do love it. I am uncertain if it makes my Top 50 but it might. It definitely is somewhere in the Top 100. I only have four favorite Top 20 names that I associate with loved historical figures. I love Malcolm because of Malcolm X, Quincy because of John Quincy Adams, Frida because of Frida Kahlo, and Dorothea because of Dorothea Lange.
