It's kinda shiny. Not as shiny as Ada or Iris, but shiny.
Mabel is stable. Like a table. What it says on the label. I picture a plain stocky girl/woman working at a butcher shop or foundry. I don't know where that association comes from, but Mabel is definitely not the same as Maybelle.
