I did a search on LinkedIn for the name "Zhalia", and according to that, there are only a few bearers worldwide. None of them come from a specific part of the world, with one bearer from Russia, two from Mexico, one from Malaysia, one from Australia, etc...
Now if you look on the user-submitted page for "Zhalia", the usage states: English (Rare) and Spanish (Latin American, Rare). The source used for it is different from the one I used, and the results are different.
So, I can't really say for certain where the name comes from, maybe it was created just for that TV show. Maybe it's some newly-invented modern name just to be trendy or something. It's hard to say. Many names have obscure meanings and origins, so I'm not surprised that I wasn't able to find the meaning of this one. I know this probably isn't the answer you wanted, but yeah, the origin is unknown. The closest name to Zhalia I can think of is Zhaleh, but I doubt that this name is of Persian origin.
