PEEuhnee, which is why I would never consider it as a human name.
Pansy ... lovely flower, but as a name it seems to attract people it really doesn't suit. For vintage comic fans, Pansy Potter the Strong-Man's Daughter; for everyone else, the Harry Potter character. And then of course there was the insulting nn for a gay man. Not a risk I'd willingly take.
