What do you all think of Lisa? By itself, not short for anything?
I know Lisa as a name was pervasive for Gen X-ers (#1 baby girl name for most of the 60s), but I was born in '91 and I only knew one other young Lisa my entire life (she was a friend's younger sister). Maybe knowing (only) one young Lisa helped the name not become so dated or played out in my eyes, because I find Lisa to be quite pretty; there's something appealing, for me, about the capital L in Lisa (I like names that start with L).
The association with Lisa Frank artwork might help this name stay lively and colorful in my eyes - I remember those school supplies when I was a kid. I loved the psychedelic leopard the most, I think...
