The other day, someone on here mentioned
Matilda Frances. I said it aloud, and M. said, "Ooh, I like that," (or something along those lines), which was cool, because I really like it too.
Matilda has been growing on me, and I think
Frances is a marvelous complement to it.
If we were to have two girls, and I could convince my fiance to drop
Sarah, what do you think of
Cordelia Edith Jane and
Matilda Frances?
Also, if
Mattie didn't stick, would it be weird to use
Matea (ma-TAY-uh)as a nickname? I realize it's the same number of syllables. How do you pronounce
Matea? Am I even using an accepted pronunciation?
If he stays stuck on
Sarah, what are your thoughts on
Sarah Mathilda Frances?
M. and I were talking about names (for still hypothetical children) again the other night, and
Sherlock was jokingly brought up. Well, I put it with a name that has strong potential for use...and I actually kind of really like it.
Nathaniel Sherlock
Would we use it? Probably not. Opinions anyway? Also for fun, suggestions for a second middle name, because the last name is Sh--k, which doesn't work with
Sherlock next to it at all. So far, I've come up with:
Nathaniel Sherlock Oliver Sh---k,
Nathaniel Sherlock Hugo Sh--k, or
Nathaniel Sherlock Ethan Sh--k.
