[Opinions] Re: Australian Baby Names
I would in no way classify Marlee or Calliope as Australian. If you are talking about names that are Australian, most of the girls named Taylor are spelt Taylah/Tayla. Jannali is not a place you want to be named for and Clancy is in no way unisex!

To clear some things up as I may not have been very clear in my writing, I got the names Marlee and Calliope, as they are towns. I have never been/ heard of Jannali, I just thought it sounded nice, was not aware it wasn't a place you would like to be named after. I got Taylor from the ABC kids show, 'Mortified', which is about an Aussie girl, and I though of Clancy as unisex, as a girl named Clancy played Grace in 'Razzle Dazzle'. Sorry for the confusion, hopefully we can see more eye to eye now :) x

I used to live near Calliope =) In my experience, Clancy is unisex and Taylor is just as common as Tayla.

Actually, I'm Australian and I've known both boys and girls named Clancy.

Really??? I've only ever met one Clancy who was a boy. I'm very sad to hear of female Clancy's.
