Ingrid is classy and elegant and I really like it.

But I'd probably choose Julia if I had to.

I like both but I think I'll pick Julia. It's more acceptable where I live and I love Julia Child. She was hilarious.

Tough call

I like both names. Julia is unquestionably prettier, but Ingrid needs to be used more often. I guess I would lean towards Ingrid for that reason alone.

I'm really not a bit keen on Julia, or Julie. The only Jul- name I enjoy is Juliet, but I'd only use it as a nn to fend off Julie.

Ingrid is my least-liked -rid name. First Sigrid, then Astrid and only then Ingrid. It isn't bad, but it is dull.

For me, Julia. It's more my style. But I've always liked Ingrid. There's something pretty and sort of elegant about it, even if it is sort of severe.
