Alex and Ryan were notified about three months ago that a teenaged girl in the area was pregnant with twin sons and had decided to give them up for adoption, as she just wasn’t in a position to support them. They met with her a couple times before the twins were born, and were able to take them home as their official sons about a week ago. They are so happy to add them to their growing family. The decided to give the boys one syllable first names and cool unusual middles.

Alex and Ryan started taking the girls to the local animal shelter to volunteer on the weekends shortly after Rain joined the family. They thought it would be a good bonding experience and they would be doing good for their community at the same time. It’s become a tradition, and the kids have even been able to name some of the pets there. Rain became very fond of a tabby cat she met there and was allowed to name it. She chose a word name that isn’t overly commonly used on pets (aka, not Fluffy :) ). Islay randomly assigns regular human names to every dog he meets. Two of them stuck. The first one has the name of one of her classmates, so it’s popular in the US. The second one is named after a boy in a children's book. Rory also named one dog. She gave it a name for humans with a positive meaning.
I don’t really know what types of animals they have at animal shelters, so I just went with cats and dogs. If I’m wrong or there are other animals you would like to include, feel free to change the type of animal I have listed. Also, I know both Islay and Zephyr are normally male names. Did you mean for Islay to be a boy, or is she just a girl with masculine-ish names?

When Stacey announced last month that she was pregnant again, this time with a little boy, no one was more excited than Charlie. Jackson and Stacey are pretty much decided on a long, sophisticated classic name and are thinking up middle names. The middle name they are thinking of right now is very southern.

Alexander and Kiara thought they would try for just one more child to complete their family, but it turned out that complete meant five instead of four. Kiara recently gave birth to twins, a girl and a boy, and she officially announced “No more!!!”. The other kids are still getting used to the new additions, but they’re old enough to appreciate that their parents will be very busy and they should try to help out as much as possible. Alexander and Kiara decided to give the twins classic first names that begin with the same letter. Their middle names also share the first initial with the first names.

Carter and Idunn knew that their last child was going to be through adoption, and as soon as Tennyson was born they knew that they wanted him to have a sibling close in age to him, so when they contacted an adoption agency they requested a child Tennyson’s same age. They were eventually set up with a small Argentinean boy and they were finally able to bring him home a couple days ago. Tennyson and his new brother are both one now. Their birthdays are 7 days apart. The little boy had a Spanish birth name with a notable explorer as a namesake. You choose whether to keep this part of his name. They would like to continue honoring Idunn’s Swedish heritage in his name.

Round 1: It’s a girl! Eden and Dino are proud parents to a delightful daughter! After some deliberation, they gave her a short and sweet first name and an Italian middle.
Round 2: Dino was especially excited to find out that Eden was carrying a son. Now Eden’s just about ready to pop, and all of them are eagerly anticipating the new troublemaker. They have decided on a mythological first name and a middle name that means strong.
Round 3: Eden and Dino always wanted to adopt and, after registering to be on the waitlist for a child a couple years ago, they were finally notified of a newborn boy ready and waiting for them a couple days ago. They’re extremely excited, and are positive that the little guy will settle right in with their other children. They chose a name honoring a famous actor for the first name spot and chose a simple Italian name to put in the middle.
