Help[Opinions] Aurora
Yesterday I heard a very tired mother trying to make her daughter listen to her. The daughter's name was Aurora. What do you think about this name? I love the meaning and I love, love, love the Aurora Borealis! Still, there is something about the "urooor" sound in the name that I'm not fond of.

I think that it's a pretty name

It's pretty and has a nice meaning, but the "ror" part is unattractive to me.

I love it, but could never use it, because it's the name of a big ugly highway here. Plus the aror part trips me up and I hate the nn Rory. But I love the meaning and the borealis connection!

I love Aurora in theory, but I don't really like how it sounds when said out loud.

It's so pretty in principle, and written down - but saying it out loud deglamorizes it completely. The sound, and the way it feels to shape the sound, are so awkward that I actually dislike the name overall.
