It has always been among my top names and then it was used for my 1 year old nephew. I adore it. I was kind of sad that it became unusable for me when he was born but I can't imagine him with any other name.

I think it's handsome, strong, unusual enough, still pronounceable. It ages well too. I also don't see it as overly Irish, myself.
