I love it. You really don't hear it that often, it's such a beautiful name. I agree, it can sound pretentious and snobby but so do a lot of names.

I know a girl named Bianca. Her family called he Binky when she was younger. I personally love the name!! Nothing harsh about it to me. It is a beautiful and feminine name. I also think Binky is a cute nn.

I like it pretty well.

I'm not a huge fan of the letter B. Bianca reminds me of the lady mouse in The Rescuers..one of my favorite stories as a child. The name is refined sounding. In American English, anyway, the ee,ah sound in it is a tiny bit foreign, so it's less 'casual' (friendly, approachable, familiar) sounding.

I knew a little girl with this name and she was very stuck up (to put it nicely). After that, I never liked the name, sorry.

I used to like it but I don't care for it anymore. I don't know why. I prefer Blanca but I don't like that much anymore either.

I think Bianca is very pretty. I don't think it sounds snobbish at all, just very ethnic. Then again I like names that come from my ethnic background.

I like it a lot. It doesn't sound snobbish, and if you think it does, pair it with something soft and not-snobbish. :)

Sometimes I love it and sometimes it seems to harsh - the hard 'c' sound - for a little girl.

It's a great name.
