Ha, when my sister was pregnant with her first child she considered this name. That child is now almost 22, so I guess about the same age as the barista. My sister said she had considered Carolina rather than Caroline to be a little different and because it's not as common, but ultimately decided it was dumb. I think it's dumb too. Maybe the fact that I live in South Carolina doesn't help.
