Taurus/Taury doesn't appeal to me. They make me think of a Taurean I used to know who would get upset if anyone asked him if Taurus was his sign. Belinda, though, I really enjoy. I love that it's long and full of distinctly feminine sounds, but it's too sharp-edged (and maybe a little dark?) to come off as frilly or dainty. It reminds me of Drusilla and Evelina, in that way. They're #bosswitch type names, and I love that vibe.
I don't have a clear favorite nickname. Bindi's cute, but I'd be more likely to use one of the others.

Taurus is OK but I can't stomach nn Taury. It's like Pauly ... drolly kewt and annoying.
I like the name Taurean more anyway.
Belinda is nice. Although Bel- makes me think of Belle and prettiness-names, and Linda means pretty in Spanish so it's almost overload. I prefer Melinda. Anyway, Bindi seems goofy but Bindy (modeled after Mindy) could work if it worked. I'd rather Lindy which is nice and grows up better.

My MIL drives a Ford Taurus and that's honestly what comes to mind even before the Zodiac. Blast American materialism! Taurus could be cool without that. I really dislike Taury on a boy, except as an occasional pet name from family that doesn't get much public use. It makes it confusingly feminine to me.
I dislike Belinda. Bel names can be pretty and Linda is nice enough, but they don't work together for me. It is overly flowery but still ugly imo... I do admit I like the nicknames. I'd go with Billie or Lindy all personality dependent.

I pronounce Taurus as "tar us" and Taury as "tarry", which sounds unpleasant to me.
(I sort of like Toreador as a word name for a Taurus, though...just throwing that out there).
Most names with the Bel- prefix sound like bullies to me (because of the Latin meaning "war, fighting" and words like belligerent, bellicose).
I think a Bindi would be made fun of, so Bel or Billie - or maybe Linda / Lin - would be my preference for NN.

The only reason I'm not into Taurus is because it reminds me of my boyfriend's old awful car. But, if you don't think of Ford motor company as I do, I'd think it would be pretty cool. I see it actually made the top 1000 in the 70s for a few years. Interesting!
Belinda is okay. It's ugly but kind of charming. I prefer Bathilda myself. If I were to use a nickname with it, I'd like to incorporate the B which gives it its character IMO, so Bindi/Bindy it is.

Bathilda is kind of badass... I wouldn't use it, but I definitely like it.

Taurus is really cool! I always think zodiac names sound super "hippie-dippy", so I'm always a little put off by them just because of that. But I can't deny that they are cool and Taury is a really cute NN!
Belinda is always going to be witchy (in a good way) and magical to me.
I don't like Bel 'cause whenever I hear it I think of the English (?) swear. My middle name bugs me because of that, but I think it's funny too: Isabelle (Is a bell). Billie is very cute and sassy. Lindy sounds very masculine to me as it sounds surname-y, but I like it. Bindi is my favorite!
