I prefer Allen, which I like. Alden is ok, but that d in there gives it a bit more of a pretentious sound. Alden is the most natural spelling to me because it's part of a major road name near where I'm from. Aldon looks awkward, plus e is nice and warm and o is dark and cold. I think Alden Michael is a great combo, though. Michael really brings Alden down to a more friendly, every-day guy thing.

It's not weird. I know a kid named Alden. His little brother is Charles (called Charlie).
Alden is a little bit formal and serious sounding, but not much more so than Hayden.
I prefer Alden over Aldon, because to me, it just looks more like it's pronounced ALL-den, while Aldon looks like AL-dun - also Aldon looks like a name for a town, and Alden is more a human name.
I think Alden Michael is slightly more musical and less severe than Alden Charles, but either is okay.

I think Alden is very nice. I would spell it that way, Alden. I like Arden a little bit better -- just have to throw that in.For a middle I would go with Charles. Michael is nice too but so overused.

I like Alden quite a bit, particularly as a middle name. Concerning the middle names you've provided (Charles & Michael), Alden looks better with both.I'd probably go with Alden Charles.

While Alden isn't a name I would use it's perfectly nice and has a strong, masculine "feel", I think. I prefer the spelling Alden and of your middle name ideas my favorite is Charles.

It's not something I'd use, but there's nothing wrong with Alden at all. Aldon looks a bit off, like you're trying very hard to be trendy. I'd stick with Alden.
Both Alden Charles and Alden Michael sound good.

If you click on Alden, you'll find its history. Aldon is a made-up name so it doesn't really have a meaning. Alden's meaning "old friend" is very nice and makes it worth using that spelling.Alden Charles sounds good to me!
