hello,

i found a looks like special surname;
'JELAVIĆ',and i want to
find the meaning.

this surname's famous bearer is
'Irina Jelavić ', the character of anime
'Assassination Classroom(暗殺教室/Ansatsu Kyōshitsu)'.

and i found that surname's
origin in YUGOSLAVIA(Serbian, Croatian),
So that's original form
is 'Јелавић'.

but i couldn't find the meaning.

does anybody know what
this 'JELAVIĆ' surname's meaning
and respond this question, please?

Hello! This is a really late response, so I don't will it be of any help, but yeah...

Just to mention, I'm Croatian.
Anyways surname 'Jelavić' can be written like 'Jelavić' and 'Јелавић'. (Croatian and Serbian)

I don't think it has any special meaning tho, but I can be wrong. It's just a surname I think.

Jelavić must be derived from one of the places in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina named Jelav as you can see at tinyurl.com/nrqmd9h.
