[Opinions] Re: Nicknames as stand-alone names...

Of yours, I like:
Liv - I also thought this was LIV, with a short "i" but I recently learned it's LEEV. Too close to the word "leave" for me. But it's still cool, lol.
Ella - I don't even think about this being a nn, really
Kate
Molly
Maisie
Mamie
Greta
Nora
Daisy
Lucy
Annie
Elise - I don't think of this as a nn, either
Harry
Finn
Some more I find "acceptable" are:
Max
Sam
Jake
Jack
Liam
Leo
Drew
Lucy
I'm drawing a blank on girls atm. :-/

Liv is a Scandinavian formal name in itself, not a nn
Liv is indeed pronounced as "leave" and means "life".
But I guess Americans use it as a nn for Olivia, then pronounced with a short I-sound (Livv).
Leo and Lucy are also formal names in themselves. Lucy is not more a nn than Mary is a nn for Maria.

So you got to please yourself."
