Leopold is nice, tough I always prefer Leo or Leon for the nn. Poldi is cute, though.
Lysander makes me think of Harry Potter (I'm sure there's a Lysander in there somewhere, but I'm too lazy to Google at the moment). It's not a bad name, and Zander, Sander, and Sandy are nice nns.
Samson is lovely as the "Sam" name people tend to forget. It really isn't quite as, I guess, "smooth" as Samuel (one of my all time favourites), but it's very bold. :)
